The little Sunbaked cubbies are on their way. If Vita's player so chooses, she can give birth within a few posts. So, I have a question, and I don't remember seeing it answered anywhere, but, well, I know we can play cubs and all, but when babies are first born... they can't really move around. Or talk. Or anything. That takes time. So my question is, when the cubs are first born, will we still have to do a certain amount of posts with them before they can be open to play? Or will they be open to play right away and at first the player is just gonna be a mewling little newborn crawling around everywhere? Because as adorable as that is, not a whole lot you can do with it. XD Also, eating. Cubs drink milk at first. So will that come into play?
Basically, just asking if we're going to do anything with the cubs during the time inbetween them being born, and the time they start actually running around and eating meat, like in real life.
AND SINCE I'M TALKING ABOUT THEM I'm going to draw Ashur and Vita's cubbies, once I actually know how many there are. And related to all this, can parents name the cubs and give them basic personalities before another player takes them over? Because Vita and I may have already done that... XD Of course, it's their 'cub personality' and it's very basic. Lots of room for them to grow and for life to change their personalities.

No xD; Unless you want to. They can act like Kenosi's age or think Simba from TLK. Baby animals are up and playing in weeks so I think if we can shrug off how long it would realistically take Vita (or any other pregnancy that takes place) to give birth then we can do the same with babies. Cubs eat an inconsequential amount from meat. You are allowed to have them suckle if you want to. Though they may be starting to be weaned or if the mom hasn't eaten she might say her milk is currently dried up, etc. The threat to cubs is that they are sitting ducks to baby-eating carnivores.
Yes. Vita can decide the restrictions, if any, that are given to the cubs early on. If she's giving you permission to help in that, then that's cool too :3

Alrighty. I was probably over-thinking things and forgetting that cubs eat an inconsequential amount. XD But awesome! So they can be up and running around and annoying the crap out of their parents in no time. XD
And Vita came up with the names and personalities and all. I'm mostly just going to draw them. XD

So glad you asked these questions; don't know how I missed this thread before. I have one though: when they're actually born, is that where I roll to see how many cubs Vita has? And if that's the case, since 4 is the max amount, does that mean that any number rolled above a 4 means just 4 cubs? Not like I want more or anything, I was just wondering what the odds were for having the max amount in a litter.

(Admin here)
The max cubs is 4 then if you roll a five you do indeed just get 4. And with the exception of Unfruitful flawed ladies, the lowest you can get is 1 cub so if you roll a 0 then you have one cub. But yeah, getting the max amount is a pretty high chance.
