Counter: 20 Confederates LeftCommoners:Naiser Agalia Lowly:-- Other Residents:-- Deceased:-- The TerritoryOnce upon a time there was a thriving human village here. That was a long long time ago and now all that remains is the centuries old crumbled ruins that were once proud structures. Where there grows more than grass, the plants grow over and weave into the buildings but much of the land is golden and dry. The terrain here is mostly flat much like the Sunbaked territories to the south.

Territory RegionsRockwallThe Confederate territories are fairly flat but in one location there stands a few massive boulders. Long ago, the humans decided to take advantage of the stable rocks and build their own nests surrounding them, using them for added walls. They stacked their own rocks meticulously enough that even centuries later the structure still stands, though not in all of its best glory. For humans anyways. For jackals the crumbled remains of an ancient human town make makes a great place for a plethora of jackals to reside in little nooks and crannies. The great walls have tumbled over, no longer fully impenetrable, but it's significantly safer and much easier to hide in than out in the open savanna! The OldlandsThe Oldlands is the most north point of the jackal regions and even more north, right beyond the Oldlands, is a massive body of water. Because of this, the flat grasslands are mostly a beautiful green opposed to being coarse, dry and golden. Trees and shrubs pop up the closer you get to the large water source but all along this land continue the remains of human settlements. The remains of Rockwall are significantly taller and more intimidating but the Oldland ruins still offer plenty of space and maze-like walls for the jackals to be content with. The SunspotThe plentiful grass begins to disappear, as does the ruins of mankind. What was left by humans here has decayed into short walls that barely ever stand taller than a lion's head. The walls are loose and crumbled but before the alliance, it was enough for many jackals to reside here without feeling like they were looking their neighbor in the face. Still, the jackals that call this place home pulled the short straw. It is hot and dry here and while the confederate lands are barren in general, none are quite as much as the Sunspot.

Culture of the Confederacy
ø The Jackals along these lands were bundled together closely in non-related family packs and pairs. The land was giving them very little food and only recently did they see an opportunity for them to feast as the Painted Army died, making an opening for the jackals to enter into from. The jackals once considered each other rivals but for the sake of making sure this chance is not wasted, they have decided to band together. Thus creating the Confederacy. This means that the Jackals' faction is actually very new and organized rituals do not exist yet.
ø The Confederacy is made up of a collection of unrelated, once-rival Jackal neighbors. As such they do not have a designated leader or 'homebase' like other factions do. Their members do have ranks however, based on how respected they are by their neighbors: Commoners being normal members while Lowly members are known amongst the Conferacy as being mousy in personality, a jerk or just someone that doesn't deserve respect. Children inherit their parents' rank.
ø The Confederacy does not see one sex, male or female, as above the other. They view each other's rank and level of deserved respect based on who they are, not what gender they are.
ø The Confederacy is made up of Black-backed Jackals and Side-striped Jackals.
