For a lot of reasons.
Money's tight for me and my fiance right now. It's made all the more nerve-racking because we're getting married in October and fdkgldmgd nothing is donnnneee.... I'm in charge of a lot of the designs, including the wedding invitations designing, text and printing and that ain't done. It took me THIS long just to figure out a design (IT'S pretty rad though). I haven't even bought my wedding dress yet ;___; I don't have the money... and at the same time I need to save up money because my maid of honor is coming in from Hawaii (as well as my bridesmaid coming in from Indiana MAYBE, I haven't heard back from her yet)... it'll be her first time on the mainland, nevermind somewhere like Cape Cod so I would like to show her around or maybe even all of us go to Salem together. So I've been working on commissions, working on prints because I'm gonna be in a print shop that ALSO opens its doors in October. I can't wait until my commissions are all done and it's just prints and comics but every time I knock a commission off the list a 'can you do me a favor' with puppy-dog-eyes comes out of the woodwork and flmdlmgld
On top of that I have been having a hard time keeping up with the roleplay even when I spent a whole morning looking at it. Keeping track of the food, where everyone is and whatnot is insane. I have my mods to thank really because whenever I read something it disappears into the mess. Even when my character is RIGHT THERE. I don't know if its the stress or just because I'm a dumb dumb.
If I'm to be completely frank, I'm scared the roleplay will fall in on itself soon when school hits. Since a lot of us control a lot of characters, when one of us isn't around, many of the storylines come to a hault. I never want you guys to put this roleplay before school or work either. Still, it's made me pessimistic about the roleplay and I keep pondering when it'll be at the point where I cut it down. Likely if Alibaster gets his roleplay up; that sounds like a dramatic survival-themed (though maybe not the same way this one is, but still intense in its own unique way) that'll be great for a lot of your guys that still have a thirst for a survival-themed roleplay can head over to. My advice to Alibaster if you're planning on making food and hunger a thing: either figure out how the users can look after it on their own or don't do fractions. Holy butts.
Soooo as I have been AFK a lot lately, I'll probably continue to be.
