Health: 37/50 Last Ate: Day 8
Chinyere hauled himself onto the river bank and heaved heavy breaths, his pelt soaked and his mane was wet. He looked up, his emerald green eyes fill with grief. The leopon headed out, following the strong scent of the blood of many animals.
He headed close towards Sunbaked borders, and with each step he grew nervous. The adolescent finally made it near where the scent was strongest and found....his poor father's body, where his head was supposed to be was gone and a chunk of his meat was ripped out. His cheeks grew full until he barfed.
The sight was sickening and sad at the same time. His father was laid decapitated and dead before his very own eyes. He crept towards him and threw him onto his back. He had to get him to the river.....
The adolescent walked slowly, even though the head was off and a chunk of him torn, blood was slowly spilling onto him. He grunted with each step as he made his way to the river where he finally dumped his father in before diving in himself. iIXEQoTu

The blood was washing off as the adolescent swam with ease through the river. He kept his head and nose above the water as his father's body slowly sunk down into the raging river. He whined, both his parents were dead....it had been so happy before, with all his siblings. (5+1=6 Ability to swim) cdHrA2iA

Chinyere went under, he had just screwed up in swimming since he left home. He popped his head up, gasping for air, trying to reach the other side. VfkVaI0C

Chinyere went under again, swallowing water and got dragged back. He coughed and coughed, trying desperately to make it to the other side. He was pulled to shore and he coughed up heaps of water. He'd have to take another route if he wished to get back home InBa2X6O

Health: 46/52 Last Ate: Day 8
Anan had spent the last few hours sobbing. He should have done something. He should have saved his father. And yet he had only watched. He might as well have killed Alibaster himself. And despite the fact that deep down, Anan was still angry with his father, that didn't erase his guilt. His father had been the only one, out of his whole family, to ever really show him any sort of love, and what had Anan repaid him with? Letting him die.
Now the leopon didn't know what to do. He had no home. He was certain his family, or rather, what was left of it, hated him. He had no friends. There was just... nothing for him now. What was the point of living?
Still crying silently, he walked over to the river, looking down into the water. Should he? It would be nice to be rid of all this sadness, and to see his parents again. But then, they would probably hate him, too, if he saw them again in the afterlife. Which would he rather have? Be hated by his siblings, or be hated by his parents?
In the end, he decided siblings. But he also couldn't bear the thought of never seeing them, or his birthplace again. So despite it being an absolutely horrible idea, Anan took a deep breath and dove into the water, trying to paddling and get across the river.

Well that wasn't a very good start. Biting his lip, Anan continued paddling, trying to swim across.

Well that sucked. Already worn out, and he hadn't even gotten anywhere! Sadness temporarily forgotten in the face of his frustration, Anan dove in again.

And this was going just about as great as his first attempt. Growling, he paddled harder.

FINALLY he was making some progress! Hopefully it wouldn't be ruined. He continued swimming, pumping his legs. Halfway across!

Not good, not good! Feeling his muscles start to give out again, Anan paddled harder, trying to get there quickly.

Eager to get away from the jungle, Kakra flew across the river, and while there were still trees, she was pleased to find it wasn't nearly as dense as the other side that she had come from. Smiling brightly, the vulture search quickly with her eyes before finally they landed on yet another dog. It seemed dogs died frequently around here. Not that she minded. Quite the opposite at the moment! Landing carefully next to the dog's head, she leaned down and quickly began picking at it, stripping it of its flesh.

By now, Kakra had eaten quite a bit. But of course, a scavenger's belly is never full, so she picked at the carcass further until there was nothing left but bones.
Smiling, she finally took off again. She caught sight of another strange leopard-lion thing as she flew, but she paid no mind. Currently she was most focused on finding small meals. So she flew north, toward the swamp. She was getting rather homesick, anyway, so she figured while she search for food, she should start making her way back toward the mountains.
