I've changed the rules regarding breeding a bit!
From now on, all hybrids will be automatically 'Infertile,' and all hybrids and those with the Infertile attribute must roll an 8 or above to have successfully bred. This does NOT include ability anymore.
Of course, we do have a few hybrids who do not contain equal amounts of either of their parents' species. Example, Abeni is mostly lion due to her father being half lion, half leopard, and her mother being full lion. So, would the rule still apply to her? Short answer, yes. What about her own children?
Basically, how this will go is is for an animal to no longer be considered a hybrid, they must be removed from one particular species twice. I will use Alibaster's family to show further examples.
Alibaster was a hybrid. We're not debating this. So he was infertile. He mated with a lion, and so their children were removed from their leopard heritage once. Abeni, Chinyere, and Anan are all considered hybrids, and thus from this point on will need to roll to successfully breed.
Abeni mated with Tau, a lion, thus removing her litter from their leopard heritage a second time. Her children are now considered lions, even if they do contain some leopard blood and even some leopard looks! They will not be automatically infertile.
Abeni has recently mated with Musoke, who is a full leopard. This will bring her children closer to their leopard heritage, so now, these children will be considered hybrids, and will be automatically infertile.
And if stuff like this continues, leopard/lion content is going to get a little more confusing and likely require some more math. I will get to that should that time ever come.
And with all of this said and done, this now means that all hybrids will no longer be able to have the 'Infertile' flaw, because they are automatically infertile. If your character is a hybrid and has the 'Infertile' flaw, please change it and let me know what you're changing it to!
