Is it horrible for me to want to make a character that is actively out to try to kill others? >-< I feel kind of bad thinking of that! Not that I want to go around murdering other characters. And nobody wants their character to die. But it seems like we could use a little bit of conflict to shake things up. I know there's some tension between the Painted Army and the Sunbaked, but otherwise everyone's being pretty awesome to each other. ^_^'

Oh my goodness I totally feel you. There definitely should be some bad seeds in the mix, I say-- but that doesn't mean they should always get their kill. Maybe if you work it out with other players first, and make sure your character isn't invincible. Then maybe it could work? I totally support it. I might even make my own power hungry and/or murderous chara one day c:

Oh, heck yeah. I think the dice system does a good job of keeping anyone from being invincible and in fact, makes playing that type of character a risk in and of itself— after all, the dice are just as likely to turn on them as on the other player! As well, I think taking the other player's wishes into account is only fair. Give them a chance to run or be rescued. But yeah, I figure with my luck that's what'll happen if I do make a 'killer-char'— they'll end up getting eaten after their first fight.

I think the main dilemma I'd have is in choosing a faction. There are so many solitary animals, and it would make for more of 'the dramas' if such a character were a faction character. But I wouldn't want to throw a, like you said, 'bad seed' into the mix of one if that wasn't something the other players were okay with. I dunno. Am I reading too much into this? (I suppose we are supposed to be at war with one another, after all. ^_^')

I'm all for conflict seeking/causing characters. Of course one of the easiest ways would be to be a Sunbaked which have strangely been a collective of aggressive animals but it would be nice to see aggression in more factions. Conflict seekers don't have to "ruin" everyone's fun. A conflict seeker could be an insane animal, a gluttonous animal, a mourning mother, etc.
Solitary animals can join a faction too, they just have to roleplay seeking out befriending and joining one.

You could even join a faction and work out getting kicked out, then seeking revenge! That would be an awesome storyline xD Or since the Sunbaked and Painted Army have been tense, you could create a character on either side (or even a loner) who just wants to stir things up no matter the cost. There's a lot of options out there!
OH MY GOODNESS I just thought-- what are the possibilities of making a band of rogues/loners who want nothing more than to see the downfall of some of the factions? Not like a big group, and not with any real faction of their own, just some characters who find each other and try to cause trouble?

I like all of those ideas. Plus a faction character that stirs up trouble may end up facing the wrath of their own faction. And that last one— perhaps they're not really a 'faction' per se because none of them trust each other, with good reason. Haha... *twiddles fingers evilly*

I feel I should pipe in that yes, I consider it entirely possible for rogues/solitary peeps to essentially create a gang. If they decide on a "faction" name then I can put that as their faction under your icons instead of solitary/rogue.
